The Internet is full of advertisements claiming that hemp-derived products remedies remedy all kinds of maladies. Many have disclaimers refuting those claims at the bottom of their ads in the small print.

QOL has partnered with an ISO 17025: 2017 accredited independent 3rd party lab, SCLabs to test top brands of CBD hemp products and compare them with the claims of those manufacturers. Transparency is also important so we ask manufacturers to make their lab tests available. The brands we recommend provide QR codes on their products or literature so the user can download their actual lab tests on their own products. QOL shows summary test results our independent lab obtained below. The QR codes below show the SC Labs tests on the sample from each manufacturer. We compare the two tests. We can endorse 3 of the 4 we tested most recently.

Val’s was processed without the residual pesticides, heavy metals or residual solvents being tested. Thus we cannot endorse it yet. The other products were tested and passed just fine. We will buy another bottle and test it for all the important content and report according to the results.

It is essential to select products with full-spectrum hemp oil for maximum effectiveness that follow the content requirements of the US Government’s 2018 Farm Bill. That means that the legal psychoactive content is less than 0.3% on a dry weight basis. It is also critical that products are tested for purity and shown to be free of residual solvents, residual pesticides and heavy metals.

One of the endorsed product lines, +Plus…, carries the Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) rating. “GRAS” is an acronym used by federal regulatory agencies to refer to substances that are used as food additives, but are considered to be “Generally Recognized As Safe” when used in accordance with good manufacturing practices.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1574449079324{margin-top: 25px !important;margin-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_custom_heading text=”CERTIFICATES OF ANALYSIS (COA)” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:center” google_fonts=”font_family:Oswald%3A300%2Cregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1574449079324{margin-top: 25px !important;margin-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=”+PlusCBD – Endorsed” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%2381d742″ google_fonts=”font_family:Oswald%3A300%2Cregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal” css=”.vc_custom_1592928497439{margin-bottom: 15px !important;}”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1534″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS

2) As defined by the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp must contain no more than 0.3% Total THC, defined as the concentration of delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ-9-THC) post-decarboxylation.  It is also critical that products are tested for purity and shown to be free of residual solvents, residual pesticides and heavy metals”

3) Total Cannabinoids result reflects the absolute sum of all cannabinoids detected.
